SUSAN’S STORY

I am the Performance Mindset Coach in the BMT 2.0 program. During most of my 65 years of life I always struggled with my weight and body image. Years ago, the situations that arose in my work or personal life never really got properly address so they just accelerated my inappropriate relationship with food.
From age 14-42 I struggled with the eating disorder bulimia and never understood it and why it was happening…I just kept it a big secret from everyone. Back then I turned to all the self-help books, diet programs, alternative and traditional therapies to FIX me! I never got any long term results.

I was a bulimic!

I was an over achiever!

I wanted everything yesterday…very impatient!

I was never happy with my body!

I was always comparing my body to others.

My joints ached from improper nourishment.

I was a slave to food apps and journaling.

Through life’s lessons as well as my professional work it became crystal clear to me that I was not the only one who needed more to get through all of life’s challenges the best way they can.

Jocelyn Weber

Nutrition & movement specialist

Jocelyn Weber is the movement and nutrition specialist at BAM Methodology. He is a 34th generation secular disciple of the Shaolin Monastery in China where he lived and trained in both external martial arts such as kung fu and internal martial arts such as tai chi and qi gong. Today, after 23 years of practice, he continues to train by combining the beauty of traditional Chinese martial arts with the movements and approach of modern fitness.

Also, since 2010 he is the owner of a sports nutrition store in Paris, France, rated number one in the country, where he provides private consulting for people, beginners or experienced, willing to take control of their body from a nutritional point of view.

Jocelyn has helped hundreds of clients coming from various backgrounds from postural issues to low back pain, scoliosis, uneven hips, overweight to post cancer recovery…

Collectively, Susan and Jocelyn have helped our clients to alleviate or eliminate all kinds of personal issues effectively regardless of their current status. Susan Lurie is the Performance Mindset coach here at BAM Methodology. Since 1999 Susan has worked on thousands of people from all ages with a variety of issues.

She especially loves working with women like her over 55 years old as she relates to their lifestyle and struggles. Susan leans in to hear YOUR story and shares tools to work through the many inevitable challenges that occur in life.

She has helped clients suffering with anxiety, self sabotage, boundary issues, lack of self love and respect, feeling overwhelmed, empty nesting, retirement and many other changes that impacted their lives.

Her 23 years of certifications in many holistic modalities has a strong emphasis on emotional healing.

This coupled with her performance mindset methodology give her a great foundation to bring personal independency, self proof and validation to her clients.
